Bring the information that helps your doctor help you
- Photo identification and current contact details
- Previous prescriptions and a list of current medicines or supplements
- Allergy, pregnancy, surgery and major health history
- Relevant laboratory, imaging, biopsy, semen or procedure reports
- Photographs showing progression of visible skin or hair changes
- Questions, goals and concerns written down in advance
For dermatology and aesthetics
Avoid hiding the affected area with heavy makeup when possible. Share all active products, steroid combinations, peels, lasers, injectables and prior reactions. Do not stop prescribed medicine without advice.
For urology
Bring urine tests, blood tests, ultrasound or CT reports and films where available. Note pain, fever, urinary frequency, night-time urination, blood in urine and changes in flow.
For andrology and male fertility
Bring prior semen reports, hormonal tests, surgery records and fertility treatment documents. A partner may attend if both are comfortable. Sensitive concerns can also be discussed privately.
Urgent symptoms
Do not wait for a routine appointment for severe pain with fever, inability to pass urine, heavy bleeding, severe allergic reaction, rapidly spreading rash, breathing difficulty or other emergency symptoms.
